Documents are included in the Telecom Virtual Library with permission of their copyright owner. The documents are freely available in the public domain for non-commercial use. If you intend to use the document for commercial purposes, permission for use should be sought from the copyright holder.

Permission for use of logos and other visual identifiers included in the documents or on the Virtual Library website must be sought from the copyright holder.

Privacy

Web server activity logs: The Virtual Library servers collect and store all of the information that your web browser sends when it requests a web page, including:

• the date and time you accessed the site;
• the Internet address of the web page that you came from;
• the page you requested from the site and the number of characters sent to your computer; and
• the information your web browser software sends as its so-called "User Agent," which typically identifies the browser software and may also indicate the operating system and type of CPU used in your personal computer.

The logs are periodically summarised and analysed in order to study site usage over time and to perform other studies to help us improve the site's organisation, performance, and usefulness.

It is impossible to determine the actual identity of an individual user from this information. No information is passed onto third parties.

Electronic mail: If a user of the Virtual Library emails the Administrator of the Virtual Library information contained within that email is retained until the request / enquiry is dealt with. After that, any personal information is deleted from our records.

We do not distribute lists of e-mail addresses to any parties outside of the University. In no event, do we include your e-mail address in such lists of e-mail addresses without your permission.

Accuracy: Every effort has been made to provide accurate and complete information throughout the Virtual Library. However, the documents contained in the Virtual Library are provided by third parties and are included as is. Consequently, inclusion in the Virtual Library does not guarantee document completeness or accuracy.

Users are cautioned to consider carefully the provisional nature of the data and information before using them for decisions that concern personal or public safety or the conduct of business that involves substantial monetary or operational consequences. Conclusions drawn from, or actions undertaken on the basis of, such data and information are the sole responsibility of the user.
