Prospective Students

The Master of Communications Management (MCM) degree course is a one year program that runs form January to December. Students study in their own country from early January and study in Glasgow (UK) from early February until the end of the course.

Scholarships

There are scholarships available for the next intake of MCM students. Typically these scholarships cover fees plus living expenses.

Countries whose nationals are eligible for consideration for the scholarships are:

Argentina, Brazil, China (including Hong Kong), Colombia, Egypt, India, Indonesia, Iran, Iraq, Kenya, Malaysia, Mexico, Nigeria, Pakistan, Philippines, Russia, Saudi Arabia, South Africa, South Korea, Thailand, Turkey, United Arab Emirates, Venezuela and Vietnam

Nationals of the following countries are also eligible for the scholarships but there can be no more than one candidate accepted each year from Tanzania, Democratic Republic of Congo, Mozambique and Lesotho.

Applications

Formal applications should be made to the University of Strathclyde. The University has an online application form which you can use to apply for the degree course.

Informal applications can be made by sending a CV plus 2 references; details of your IELTS score if English is not your first language; documentary evidence of academic and professional qualifications (copies should be sent at this stage): to Dr Jason Whalley, MCM Course Director, Management Science Department, Graham Hills Building, 40 George Street, Glasgow, G1 1QE, United Kingdom. Note that although the university initially will accept an informal application we must stress that it should be followed up a formal application - as only formal applications will be considered by the Foreign and Commonwealth Office.
